Case Study Two : Setting Up Bed for Gray Oyster Mushroom

Bed Setting for GO mushroom using sawdust and shredded corrugated boxes. 6.11.16

Bed Substrate materials :
2 kilos saw dust
1 kilo shredded corrugated boxes
3 handful of rice brand
3 spoonful of sugar
3 spoon of lime

Mixed all materials with enough water, steamed for 2 hours, put all the substrate to a styrofoam boxes ( cleaned, wiped and sprayed with clorox and alcohol mixture.). Mixed one fruiting bag(fully colonized by GO mushroom) then wrapped the top with plastic cover.

Results :
 6.16.16 After 5 days, mycelia activities visible on top of the substrate.
